  1. Glad you think that way, because I think the opposite. It's mediocre at best, and tripe at worst. Funny how you seem to fall back on crapping on a show you apparently like. If that itself doesn't prove how lousy your credibility is, I don't know what else would. But if you wanna act like your opinions are facts, then here we go - FT is trash and since you like it your opinion and vision is trash. Everything you say is trash and everything you stand for is, guess what, TRASH. You talk trash because that's all you're made of - TRASH. Now stop being trashy and be classy. >
  2. To anyone who listened to Mochi.... don't believe him. Like, at all. There has been no confirmation that Oda approved or even listened to the 4Kids cast. He's talking out of his ass, as per usual. The only English cast that has been CONFIRMED to had been approved by Oda, is FUNi's cast. That's it. I'm not sure why Mochi keeps spreading that lie around, but it's not true.
  3. Would you stop saying that? Thats false information.
  4. Disgusting. Time to move on now, eh?
  5. Arent you happy? Its male ass.
  6. Yeah, but... who knows if that matters with Super.
  7. Well, youre actually talking about something else for once, so...
  8. Actually, now that I think about it, it could be "Broly", but from a different universe - hence why it's a female. That'd be nuts. In fact, that whole 30 sec trailer has me extremely interested, which Super hasn't really done in its entirety for me. Bravo.
  9. Lmao I don't think that's Broly. But if that's the first ever FEMALE Super Saiyan we've ever seen then... wow. I would think they'd have played down the muscle factor a bit.
  10. That's because her original dub voice actress came back to voice her on Super, while I believe Colleen Clikenbeard (Kai Gohan, Luffy, Riza Hawkeye) voiced her in Kai.
  11. See this is why you can't have a sensible discussion about this, Ben. Because you're clearly too much of a fanboy. I can almost assure you SJ did their trademark "you have 5 chapters to wrap it up". It's time to wake up and realize this. No love of Bleach will change what happened. But by all means, go prove you're an unreasonable fanboy again by going into another wild tangent.
  12. The fact that you state your opinion as so already proves who's more cancer in this situation. (HINT: It's you) Even among other shonen, FT is low quality.
  13. I'm sure it's random. The online marathons kinda just appear whenever with no theme whatsoever.
  14. Can't be 'true', when it's all up to the individual. For instance, I think you're terribly wrong. And that Bleach pales to One Piece is pretty much every conceivable way, but let's not start a lame pissing contest about which series we like more that I"M SURE you want to ignite (You ASMB people have nothing better to do than to trash other series).
  15. There you go putting words in my mouth. Never did I say OP was the best selling anime franchise period. I always said the truth - it's best selling MANGA series period. Never, in all my time talking to you, did I say anything other than that - AND YOU KNOW IT. Don't put words in people mouths just so you can aid your piss-poor argument. Never did I use OP's sales to argue it's quality either, only it's popularity and the stuff it's achieved - stuff that you and Jman constantly undermine - which is wrong. But the quality of the series? That's subjective. Clearly you like it though, so I don't see the problem. But nice bait.
  16. Andddddd that still isnt confirmed. Thats just you speculating due to Kubo stating his health was deteriorating. In your mind, he MUST HAVE finished it due to that. But it stands to reason the SJ was just sick of having him around and gave it and him the axe. You're gonna go all fanboy on me and call me a hater because you strongly believe your assumption is the truth, but all us realistic people here know what most likely happened.
  17. Well, the explanation is that the body and shadow are 'one' and have to match when together (Moria demonstrated this when he modified Oars' shadow to turn into a ball, in which Oars body also turned into a ball) "Shadow Revolution", I think he called it. Basically, when the "whole" shadow comes back, their bodies 'come back' as well (since the shadow and body have to match when together) I admit, he kinda went too far with that concept when it came to the bodies already being half gone, but that is the explanation. Don;t forget, this is the same show that has Sanji spontaneously combust into flames and use that as an attacking method, even though he has no Devil Fruit powers or anything. I also think Oda's take on "shadow powers" is pretty creative. Usually shonen manga artist treat 'shadow' as an attacking element (like fire or ice), which is kinda lame. Although, I guess Blackbeard's Dark Dark Fruit kinda fits that bill.
  18. Sigh.... you guys suck. All y'all do is talk shit about other series and it just becomes a circle jerk of series hating. Doesn't matter the circumstances.
  19. I don't think One Piece was ever tooted to be Japan's most successful media property. Just that it's the most successful selling manga series. So I dunno where this "dethroned" thing came from when it was never number one in this regard. But, hey, number 2 is nothing to sneeze at either. Love Live is a freak'n empire in Japan. It's based on music so already you know it easily takes the cake when it comes to media sales. Also, this list excluded some things like movie sales and videogames, which makes the list kinda imcomplete IMO (Love Live would have probably still won, though).
  20. And just to make things clear - HxH gets "dark" indeed, but it's mostly compared to other similar shonen, like the Big 3, DBZ, Fairy Tail etc etc. But if you've seen more violent series like JoJo, Attack on Titan and other stuff like that, it's not going to phase you. It's violence isn't "mind-scarring". It's just more expressive than other similar battle shonen.
  21. The way you wanna go about it, Demarco will say it's a waste of money. Movies are a waste of money and skipping episodes from a show is a waste of money. No way would they do that.
  22. That being said, it kinda annoys me when people consider things getting better just because it gets darker. That's nonsense. I mean, HxH gets more interesting later on, but not because it gets more violent. Using that as a crutch for explaining the show is better than others is the wrong way to go about it.
  23. Even if it takes a while for HxH to get truly great, at least it GETS THERE. Unlike FT... which stays mediocre throughout its entire run (while getting downright terrible later on) But again, opinions!
  24. I dunno. I never viewed Zoro's 4Kids voice as being "evil". He kinda kinda just sounded like a sarcastic mocking young man, which I don't think truly fits Zoro. Again, his 4Kids voice was decent but I think Sabat captures the characters intended personality more. It's more laid back and has an overall more serious tone than 4Kids Zoro. Here is the same scene (Zoro vs Mihawk) with the 3 different versions (Japanese, 4Kids, FUNi) -- Japanese version https://youtu.be/Pvyakbw-6WY 4Kids/FUNi Again, I don't think 4Kids Zoro is bad or anything. Just slightly too energetic and sarcastic, which I think are two traits that don't really fit Zoro, but the voice itself isn't bad. I just think the "stoic badass" that IS Zoro is more properly conveyed with Sabat's take.
