  1. That was a good episode. I'm enjoying this show more and more as it progresses. I think this was a good pickup for Toonami. Next best thing to Blue Exorcist, and hell, might actually be better! ON to JoJo!
  2. Awwww... FIND YOUR STRENGTH, NOELLE!!
  3. Oh no! It's nice to finally have REAL DANGER in this show though, unless you count the flashback battle in the intro which begins every episode!
  4. Dallas is actually GOOD compared to the Japanese VA, or so I hear...
  5. Wow, I just saw an ass get beat by a sword, and then punched by a medieval glove... ...this show...
  6. Oh great--is this where Buu yells so loud he nearly trashes the entire universe!?
  7. That would still be 11 episodes, though! I can't get over how Buu's like "I thought you were gonna kick my ass" when the first time I saw this series was on Toonzai when that would have been forbidden!
  8. Tonight it's "Session #19: Wild Horses". I honestly can't remember what happens in this episode. Maybe it's somehow slightly less memorable than the others?
  9. Tonight will be just full of fanservice!! And Meow gets especially insane! Episode 3: "Occasionally Even The Deceiver is Deceived, Baby!"
  10. I think it's #80. And good job! Ok, ok, so it's actually #83!
  11. Episode 21: Grave Of The Dragon ON to the Galactic Leyline!! 2:30 AM tonight (2/10/18) It's gonna be a BLAST! Only Toonami!
  12. Episode #40: Lit By A Blazing Sun! The Turbines are in trouble! Can they escape Gjallarhorn's finest unscathed, or will Naze and his harem go down in flames? Find out tomorrow (2/10/18) night--maybe! Only Toonami!! Watch it with someone you love!
  13. Episode 24: High Priestess, Part 2 The latest Stand is causing trouble in a sub for Team JoJo! How will they escape from this watery grave? Join us for the gateway to Battle in Egypt! Good call. Tonight (2/10/18) at Midnight. Only Toonami!
  14. EPISODE 9: BEAST Last time on Black Clover, a whole bunch of insane fillerish shit involving, among other things, wild boars, happened, but then right at the end, a fearsome new foe appeared! Will this guy be more of a challenge for Asta, who has managed to somehow flatten nearly everything in his path? Find out tomorrow night (2/10/18) at 11:30! ONLY TOONAMI!
  15. Actually, you've got it backwards. Beerus likes the Z-Fighters, but the Z-Fighters have only grown to live with Beerus because they have to constantly appease him. The Z-Fighters "liking" Beerus is pure Stockholm Syndrome!!
  16. I'd almost be willing to bet this will be April 6th's Pre-Flight episode. If the panel is at 7 PM on Friday night in Chicago, that's perfect!
  17. I don't think there's enough time between DBZ Kai's end and AOTS3 to squeeze in FLCL. Hence, it will likely be an expansion show. Or, maybe AOTS3 will? But one thing's for certain: AOTS3 almost NEEDS to be a Space Dandy-style World Premiere...or maybe it doesn't, because FLCL certainly will be. So yeah, why not? AOTS3 can piss everyone off by following FLCL in August or something. Also, depending on where in the "Summer" FLCL2 airs, we either will have a marathon on June 30th or July 7th or we won't. But I guess this is almost proof positive that there WON'T be a marathon and FLCL2 likely premieres June 2nd and finishes July 7th. But I guess we'll see...
  18. Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up! This forum doesn't capture quotes within quotes so I was quite confused...
  19. I don't know how you read "seething hate" in that; I really just stated some observations and facts.
  20. Damn, this fool tweets a lot! Before y'all lose your heads, he IS aware of Toonami. I just don't know if he knew it was revived in 2012... Also, I find something interesting: Toonami and Netflix actually began in the same year: 1997. Toonami did arrive 5 months and change before Netflix, though. And Netflix was NOTHING like it is today back then. It got started, of course, as a mail-delivery video system before streaming video was even a thing. Then again, you could argue that Toonami is nothing like it was in 1997 either, but at least it's always been an animated action-oriented programming block.
  21. Uh oh. It turns out we can't go by that. Those numbers are all wrong. Evidence of this is when multiple sites have DBS scoring a 0.49, when this link says in that rundown it got a 0.22 in 18-49. Ditto for 18-34: we already knew from SBD it got a 0.58, not a 0.18. What's interesting is that two shows were credited in PI to have gotten a 0.58 in 18-49, but SBD shows them both getting a 0.18. What we are really getting a look at there is beyond me. It could be that PI has accidentally given us a look at some arcane demographic we didn't even know existed. Or, it could just be that they somehow got a lot of the data jumbled up, but considering that this list contains numbers that the others don't, I'm really not sure how that would be possible unless those numbers belong to reruns, just not the reruns under which they're listed. The total viewers numbers, DO corroborate with other sites, though. And Households are a complete mystery as no one else lists them; they may be correct or not! And finally, I have no reason to doubt the Toonami grid, because it lists the same numbers (NOT 18-49 viewership) as SBD.
  22. Hopefully they will show that in the coming weeks. More continuity and faithfulness to the original would do good for DBZ Kai!
  23. Well well WELL!!! 24. You might want to link to the U.S. map... http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-feature/2018/02/02-1/feature-crunchyrolls-most-popular-winter-anime-by-state-us Hmmm, Darling In The Franxx rules Georgia--interesting... BACK to the ratings, something I noticed last week from Programming Insider I hadn't pointed out yet, I don't think: Family Guy (ADSM, 10:00 PM, 30 min.) – 1.078 million viewers (#27) – 0.66 HH (#26) – 0.42 A18-49 (#8) – 0.52 A18-34 (#4) Dragon Ball Super (ADSM, 10:30 PM, 30 min.) – 0.999 million viewers (#31) – 0.62 HH (#31) – 0.42 A18-49 (#8) – 0.56 A18-34 (#2) Yes, that's right. DBS gained on Family Guy in Adults 18-34 on 1/27, but did it also happen last Saturday? We'll find out in a little while!
