  1. Really? We DO have one more episode of filler left? I thought it was 20, not 21. According to my DVR, we're up to Episode 21 of Season 9. Season 9 began with this crappy filler. It's about Tsunade separating Naruto and Sasuke, so it sounds like it could either be canonical or filler as hell. I'm expecting everything but the Dragon Balls and Black Clover to be taken over with April Fool's Day shenanigans on March 31/April 1, so if what you say is true, it will be April 7th when we get back to Canon. Hmmmm...
  2. So that's the full version? 9-1/2 minutes long!? Good grief; it's longer than Roundabout! EDIT: No, wait, it's only 5 minutes 41 seconds long, a Wikipedia search revealed. Still, it might be really cool if it moved around to different parts of the song like with Roundabout. And I hope they also use a long song like that for Part 5: Golden Wind and use different parts based on the mood like they did with Roundabout! But as for the last part of this episode, man that was a hilarious comedy of errors! And it was all set off by that canine "deus ex machina" Iggy!
  3. Amazing that it shocked us after Toonami had JUST finished airing Hellsing Ultimate a month ago!
  4. Bakuman is the new Ohba/Obata anime, right? The "spiritual successor" to Death Note?
  5. This episode is the only thing I actually watched at the St. Patrick's Day party tonight--and I used my DATA to do it! Shows you how much I adore this show. Anyway, I thought this episode was at least worth an "A", but apparently our trusty ANN reviewer thought different: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/mobile-suit-gundam-iron-blooded-orphans/episode-45/.112723 TL,DR: Rating "B+"
  6. "Who needs sleep, right?" And then Togusa with that biting non-sequitur!
  7. Wow, the ending theme sounds kinda like an Irish jig! How appropriate for St. Patrick's day! Anyway, I just watched it; I like the OP and ED, and then THAT MEETING between Yuno and Asta! OH MAN!! I can't wait to see where this goes! And as for the review for this episode on ANN: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/black-clover/episode-14/.126230 TL,DR: Rating "C+." Well, to be fair, the episode DID drag.
  8. I don't want to die by extreme sucking, because I'd like to REMEMBER it...
  9. Passing like 2 ships in the night--or hyperspace!
  10. Will Dandy be able to escape from THIS!?
  11. "Until we have more information, this remains unconfirmed!" What the hell, Jet? You just narrated a whole series on it!
  12. For the most advanced ship in the known universe, that thing DOES tend to break down a lot...
  13. Meanwhile, on the West Coast, Buu is getting his ass kicked by a piece of candy!
  14. "See You Again..." Interesting! C'mon, Toonami, make a continuation of Outlaw Star! And air Angel Links! Whoa, more!?
  15. Yeah, that was a total swerve! "Hey, what do you say we get outta here?" Classy move, Gene!
  16. Wow, bumping this thread because it seems I was wrong. It turns out these are NOT the same episodes of DBZ KFC that aired all week; they're actually the NEXT set of episodes, and yes, it does appear that there are SIX of them in each rotation instead of 5 like there used to be! I'm actually OK with this change. I felt like 5 worked for shows like Samurai Jack and not much else. MAAYBE Gundam IBO, since each season had 25 episodes. But since the new flagship show is FLCL, and it has 6 episodes in each season. Plus for a lot of shows, such as Tokyo Ghoul and JoJo Part 3, 6+6=12, and that's once again a FULL COUR!! Having an extra episode of the featured show play and bringing back the advance with a new Pre-Flight on Friday Night isn't a bad trade-off for the demise of the weekend block stream of the block from 4 years ago. So to sum up, right now we've got the DBZ Kai Final Chapters episodes from: 1/20/18: #146 "Gotenks' Ace in the Hole! Transformation! Super Saiyan 3!" 1/27/18: #147 "On A Roll! Buu-Buu-Volleyball!" 2/3/18: #148 "Thanks for Waiting, Everyone! A Reborn Gohan Heads for Earth!" 2/10/18: #149 "Buu Overwhelmed! Ultimate Gohan's Super Power!" 2/17/18: #150 "Buu's Sinister Scheme: Gotenks Is Absorbed" 2/24/18: #151 "The Elder Kai's Brainstorm! Return to Life, Goku"
  17. Let's finish this!! See Gene Starwind and company off in style! 2 AM Tomorrow night (3/17/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  18. Episode #45: "If This Is The End" On to THE FINAL BATTLE ...If it really will be the final battle... Has Tekkadan's luck run out this St. Patrick's Day? Hold your loved ones tight and prepare for carnage! 12:30 AM Tomorrow (3/17/18), ONLY TOONAMI!!
  19. EPISODE #14: Dungeon To cap off St. Patrick's day on the east coast, pick a lucky clover!! A lucky BLACK Clover that's been possessed by the Devil that is! And MAN, does that devil like to SCREAM!!! 11:30 PM, ONLY TOONAMI!!!
  20. In the words of Jotaro: "Oh, good grief!"
  21. It would appear that they're expanding the number of episodes that are run on weekdays from 5 to 6, as I believe 6 episodes of DBZ Kai played this week: 11/18/17 12/2/17 "What Anger Gives Rise To Another Majin!" 12/9/17 "Buu Gobbles Up Buu! Onslaught Of A New Majin!" 12/16/17 "Headlong Rush Into Catastrophe! A One-Hour Time Limit!" 1/6/18 "Training Complete! You're Finished Now, Majin Buu!" 1/13/18 "Elminating Buu With Ghosts: A Knockout Kamikaze Attack!" Did anyone else notice that's what they did? It would seem to make perfect sense to me if so, with FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 coming up, each 6 episodes. EDIT: Well, I wasn't expecting this! Looks like the DBZ Kai stream is gonna continue through the weekend. I guess I'll be able to determine if it's 5 episodes or 6 at some point after all!
