Well folks, I think we officially have our worst ratings of the year, as Toonami is a dud on Leap Day: JoJo checks in at #53. "Adult Swim’s line-up performed as follows: MY HERO ACADEMIA at 0.20 and 0.06/177K & 0.06/175K, compared to last week’s 0.07/196 & 0.09/202K, SWORD ART UNDERWORLD down 0.06 to 0.17, DEMON SLAYER down 0.06 to 0.16/313K, FOOD WARS down 0.05 to 0.15, BLACK CLOVER down 0.04 to 0.14/268K, JOJO’S BIZARRE ADVENTURE down 0.02 to 0.15/268K, NARUTO down 0.03 to 0.11/201K, PRIMAL at 0.10/174K, and SAMURAI JACK at 0.08/154K." Down down down. LOOK at all those "downs!" And MHA reruns hit a new low...

I need to see this movie! I hope since it was #4 this weekend, it will be hanging around in theaters for a while!

Do we even know at this point for sure that the dubbed versions of CR originals will be posted online?? It seems to me CR specializes in subtitles anime with less dubbed shows. Sure there are outliers like Mob Psycho 100, but those seem to be the exception rather than the rule. Toonami has 3 slots opening up this spring when MHA, SAOAWOU, and Demon Slayer end. For one of those to be a CR original just seems academic to me. Toonami could also lose one slot, I guess, but it sure ain't losing 2.

I think a 7-show Toonami is fine but rather restrictive, and while you don't want to air top-notch shows at 2 AM (apparently Viz is the only company that's cool with it right now for premieres), losing 2 AM premieres would mean taking prime time slots, and result in a Toonami that ends at 1 AM my time. I guess I would be alright with that, but prime time Toonami butts heads with early-evening Saturday events. If Toonami can get to 10 or more shows again, I'd like to see them expand to Midnight on weeknights, perhaps with dubs of Crunchyroll originals or something like that. Or maybe such a thing could be the CRUNCHYROLL midnight run? Nah, I think you've got to stick Toonami in there even if it's not on Saturday nights. Crunchyroll Presents Toonami Midnight Run would be cool. It's getting close to my new weeknight bedtime (11 PM), so that's all I'mma say for now. Might have to record Ballmastrz tonight.

Y'all might find this interesting! It's kinda like the SAO version of the Demon Slayer podcast, but it streams at ~7 PM PST/10 PM EST on SUNDAY nights!

Do you think that's really gonna happen? Toonami on [as] has never been shorter than 3.5 hours unless it repeats later in the night. I personally would take that! But I really believe it was just a slip of the tongue by DeMarco that he momentarily believed the block had ALREADY shrunk down to 3 hours, when in fact it's 3.5.

I'll take those 30 minutes for 400, Alex! Man, filler hell sucks! Though I have to give Beau Billingslea props as always as the Raikage Ay.
