Who is more dangerous--some of the dead passengers, or the enigmatic Finnish psychopomp boat captain, Tytti? 2:15 AM - Episode 6: D7#9 The ferry has crashed into the Inuit frozen underworld of Adlivun--but the Hindu death god Yama is waiting for them! Can Makasu escape the religious entities trying to judge his soul? These episode descriptions sound more interesting than we all know the episodes will be, right?     I would say the 19th MIGHT be a normal day. It is also possible that our only December marathon is the 26th and we also get one on the 2nd of January. I would guess that one of the Holiday marathons (if there are 2) would be Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2 in anticipation of the final season, which may be coming either January 2nd or 9th, since it is set to premiere in Japan on December 7th.

By the way, it turns out DBS, SAO, and Fire Force all beat the BUTT Bowl (Baylor University at Texas Tech) on Fox Sports 1 in Adults 18-49, and all of Toonami from 12:30-2:30 AM beat it in Adults 18-34 and several other key demos! Kick that BUTT, Toonami!

And reruns STILL don't work at the top of the block! Maybe after the PRIMAL marathon on Thanksgiving Weekend, we'll come back with something new and they'll be kicked down to 3:30 or something? Yasha-Hime, maybe? Then again, if they were gonna start airing that in December, they would have announced it at the Final Pre-Flight, right??

    Now literally all Toonami is, is the TV block. Toonami Pre-Flight lasted from March 2015 to November 2020. Hell, I really would only give it about as far as September. While it was kinda cool that it sunsetted as an acutal online program leading-in to Toonami, once Toonami started with a rerun of Dragon Ball Super, I kinda stopped caring about it. And I really feel that it often had very little to do with Toonami as a whole. The Toonami Faithful Podcast, though unofficial, was, and is, living up to its name as often more faithful to Toonami. I do indeed hate to see Pre-Flight go. I guess now the only way Toonami will really communicate with its fans off-air is through streamed con panels on Adult Swim's YouTube channel? Well that, and the old default that is DeMarco's Twitter account.

    It's just straight-up weird nonsense most of the time! But it isn't completely without redeeming qualities. Still, it's definitely the worst show on Toonami! That said, it may actually be the best show on Sunday nights, because Dream Corp LLC is complete garbage!

    I did dig a live performance or two occasionally on FishCenter, but the rest of the time, I thought it was a mess. The weird thing is with Crunchyroll potentially leaving HBO Max, this could be Toonami's chance to cement itself there, and if so, we might see the return of Toonami Pre-Flight in some form. I think it would be cool if they took a page out of Talking Dead's playbook and aired a discussion show after the block, but there's no chance in hell you're doing that live at 3 AM. They're gonna need lots of programming with Family Guy leaving, so who knows? Could be something that airs at a weird time like 11 PM on Monday nights...
