Maybe they'll finally reair season 3 part 2 of Attack On Titan, this time in a marathon from 12:30-5:30 AM? In case things aren't quite back to normal, I guess they could then air quadruple AOT Final Season Part 1 at the end of the block for 4 weeks, leading into the premiere of Part 2 in February!

Toonami was CERTAINLY not lame in October! Then we were all marveling at how a Direct-To-Video Two Face origin story just released in the summer somehow managed to make its way to basic cable!

According to the DirecTV on-screen guide, there's gonna be a 4.5-hour American Dad episode from 10:30 PM to 3 AM. 🙄

I'm thinking most likely February 12th on Toonami, replacing Blade Runner: Black Lotus at Midnight. BUT it COULD be the week after in case they decide to just randomly do a Black Lotus marathon.

I really hope Toonami has first rights of refusal on the special. Would probably make a pretty good program for July 2nd or September 3rd...

What needs to happen is the law needs to change. An exclusivity contract should be bound to one type of medium and non-transferrable to any other, regardless of circumstances. No amount of "fuck you" money from a streaming service that has no equivalent on a different medium of communication should be able to keep someone in that medium from obtaining rights to something. In other words, a "have the potential to use it or lose it" law. Yes, I realize under those circumstances, no TCP/IP medium such as adultswim.com would be allowed to stream JoJo, but that's a small price to pay. It would be bound only to Cable and Satellite under the Toonami aegis, where those annoying Netflix bastards dare not tread. But then again, such a law just might end up with them setting up a Cable/Satellite equivalent and getting the last "fuck you."
