    To be fair, so far in 2023, Toonami's premiere ratings have actually IMPROVED from the same period in 2022. Some of the episodes of One Piece and Shippuden in early '22 had much fewer than 100K total viewers, with the floor at 69K for a Shippuden episode that we wouldn't even know about in this day and age, since premieres which miss the Top 150 in 18-49 are no longer mentioned. So far in 2023, all premieres have been 99K total viewers or higher, with only one episode of Food Wars! just barely stuck in the 5-digit club. Well, all of this followed a fairly weak episode of UWE, so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. If you ask me, [as] should try replaying Collision at 9 PM on Saturday nights as a direct lead-in to Toonami.

    He's coming to my town with his "Two Tims" tour. For those who don't remember, he was Tom in Tom Goes To The Mayor and himself in Tim & Eric Awesome Show! Great Job!! Despite having some degree of contempt for him, his show DID make me laugh sometimes so I'm actually considering it.

    If Toonami would have aired it at 11:30 for its entire run rather than jettisoning it to the mid-block, who knows? We might be living in a world where Toonami presented its theatrical run with a guaranteed airing on the block a few months later instead of this. Demon Slayer eventually got a better timeslot, but Toonami's airing Season 1 at 1:30 at first was a real head-scratcher. Sometimes it seems they're their own worst enemy with these boneheaded decisions. When they DO capture lightning in a bottle, like with the DBZ franchise, it's usually just dumb luck!

The first few bites of this course were decent, but later on, it kinda got flavorless. ...oh, what's this? Toonami's reairing Episode 1 of 5th Plate next week for dessert? Great.
