  1. There is some great boneheaded animation in this scene! [brook laugh]
  2. We're Going Home!! No, not really... Only Toonami!!
  3. We wanted "Game Of Thrones: The Anime" on Toonami, but I guess this will have to do!
  4. Special time: 2:15 AM tonight (6/10-11)!! Only Toonami!!
  5. Season 3, Episode 2: "Greed Equals Justice". Can't say I agree with that equation! Longer version on Facebook: https://fb.watch/l4SGQA_EH_/?mibextid=ZbWKwL Right on cue just before Food Wars' penultimate episode, Senku depetrifies a chef. It's a really tasty hour of Toonami, beginning tonight (6/10-11) at 12:45 after an extra-long episode of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal!!
  6. The first season DID get a marathon of episodes 11-20 on Thanksgiving weekend 2019. [sponsored by pepsi]
  7. Leaving episode 6 pinned for now since it plays today at 7 PM ET. This episode replays tonight 7:30-8:15, and it's kinda different, but I feel it may have been the best one yet!
  8. Poking fun at the credits crunch phenomenon was quite cheeky! Skeletor called--he wants his act back! Although some of that was oddly reminiscent of that dancing skeletons Disney cartoon too!
  9. Well, THAT was quite a swerve! Guess Twillion can't do everything! Makes me wonder if the evil of the 9-Tailed fox lady is truly dead after all! Hey, has [as] had these cool animated UWE bumps on all the Thursday night premieres? That should replay during Toonami!
  10. Well, THAT escalated quickly!
  11. So THAT'S the deal! Edred is a bit of a misfit in his race too!!
  12. Here we go! It's Unicorn time! 🦄
  13. Special 45-minute runtime tonight!!
  14. I honestly don't know that is true. Dr. Stone only got a 0.097 in Adults 18-49. With the floor at 0.112 for the Top 200 Reruns, it's still possible that UWE beat that, and, perhaps more importantly, it and the American Dad episodes which DID chart on the Top 200 Reruns did better in 18-34 than a 0.13. 15. Here's all the ratings for the weekend of June 1-4 that have come in. First, Thursday: https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-thursday-6-1-2023-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html Good numbers for Unicorn, and it actually went up considerably in all demos except 25-54 and 50+, especially the female demos. As for Saturday... https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-saturday-6-3-2023-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html Dr. Stone actually managed to edge out UWE 2 nights prior in Adults 18-34! Food Wars and One Piece also both either beat it or tied it in that [as] classic target demo, and Dr. Stone and Food Wars actually both tied for 5th place and One Piece tied for 8th place in that demo among the night's originals to boot! Naruto Shippuden checked in at #53 with a 0.06 and 127K total viewers, but it probably still managed to do pretty strong in 18-34. And as for Eric Andre on Sunday? https://showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-sunday-6-4-2023-top-150-cable-originals-network-finals.html Comparable to Toonami in total viewers and 18-49, though it does seem to have skewed older, since Thursday and Saturday's action shows both handed it its ass in 18-34. However... https://www.spoilertv.com/2023/03/top-200-cable-reruns-week-ending-26th_01243089880.html Unfortunately, no Toonami reruns made the Top 200 any of the previous 3 weeks, but American Dad was strong as usual, even on Saturday, but especially last Wednesday, when it almost pulled a 0.2 in 18-49.
  16. Another thing that article curiously omits is any ACME night airings.
  17. While I'll admit that's the most likely scenario, do we know that for sure? Another alternative could be deathslotting it between MHA and Venture Brothers. To assume this is the new midnight show after UWE is not only short-sighted, it also rejects years of data regarding what [as] Toonami has done with DC shows and movies. The only other CN-to-Toonami series, Beware the Batman, aired at 3 AM and 2:30 AM, and most DC movies had a midnight lead-in that WASN'T DC-related. The Batman movies in 2020 and the Harley Quinn marathon in 2021 were more or less the exception to the rule!
  18. Unicorn: Warriors Eternal is a good show. It belongs on Toonami, and it's just because of Genndy's weird preference to have shows premiere outside the block that it's not premiering there. That isn't the case with MAW Superman, and it may reasonably suffer the opposite fate. It would be utterly hilarious if it just got kicked off Toonami in favor of a bunch of incoming shows, and finished on Thursday nights/Friday afternoons/ACME night only instead!
  19. Does it replay on Thursdays after Unicorn?
  20. Be that as it may, it will still be really interesting to see what Toonami does with this show. If Toonami CAN expand to 11 PM in 3Q 2023, [as] may try slotting it there (not to mention a full-season Unicorn: Warriors Eternal marathon on 7/1 from 11-4). That way, we can get a new show at 12 AM that week and perhaps another one at 11:30 the following week (like FLCL Shoegaze, maybe?) while Dr. Stone stays at 12:30. But if that isn't the case, Dr. Stone HAS to move down to 1, but for how long? Will we get a one-hour finale of UWE on 6/22 too? If so, that would actually begin Dr. Stone's move down and maybe even knock MHA off the schedule. Hopefully Toonami DOES get to expand in July and we get a 4-or even 5-hour block! Provided I can still stay awake for the whole thing anymore (I'm struggling with Naruto and MHA these days), I'd love to see this: 7/1 - UWE Full show 11 PM-4 AM (or maybe even 11-4:30 if they start with Episode 10) 7/8 - 11 PM Supes x2, 12 AM New Show, 12:30 Dr. Stone, 1 AM One Piece, 1:30 Shippuden, 2 AM MHA, 2:30 UWE, 3 AM Primal S1 x2 7/15 and after - 11 PM Supes, 11:30 & 12 AM New Shows, 1 AM One Piece, 1:30 Shippuden, 2 AM MHA, 2:30 UWE, 3 AM Primal S1 x2 Meanwhile, 7/7 on Fridays, I would love to see them ditch KOTH completely and try Supes and Venture Brothers back-to-back from 7-9 PM? Maybe even keeping the theme going by adding MHA S6 reruns at 6 PM in September?
  21. I tried to stay up but I couldn't. Kept dozing in and out through the episode.
