Monday is good. It starts with the letter M, one of my favorite letters.

What I'll say is this: They had been calling pretty much a clean game and letting them play, only calling OBVIOUS penalties. Why suddenly call that? I mean yes, it was a defensive hold, but at that juncture of the game, let them play, especially since you had been doing that all game long.

My dad and I used to love going over and getting autographs from him every time we went to watch them at Houston Raceway Park ever March for a long, long time. We'd watch him, Al Hoffman, Kenji Okazaki, Cruz Pedregon, Mike Dunn, Kenny Bernstein, Joe Amato, Eddie Hill (he was a big favorite of ours since he was one of the national guys who was actually from Texas), Walter Johnson, Gary Ornsby (before he sadly passed away from cancer in '93), Conrad "Connie" Kalata, his late son Scott Kalata, and quite a few others. I miss those days because he and I really bonded over that. (Well, that and baseball, but he loved baseball growing up. He hated football as an adult.)

I don't know if he's still racing or not, but I do know he was still racing as of 2021.
