Everything they bring back ends up making the originals 50x more expensive. For no goddamn reason. Seriously, if I want a smooth sounding podcast that sounds like it's on vinyl, I'll spend a good amount of money on a very nice audio system. Once. Not hundreds and hundreds on vinyls. With the equipment made today, this is a possible thing. And really, they get mildly expensive equipment to listen to vinyl or cassette, but if they want the true feel, buy a cassette player from the 80's, or a record player from the later 70's. part of that "smoother sound" or whatever comes from the older technology paired with it.
