He does baffle me when it comes to that. He's known he was lactose intolerant for over a year now but he doesn't really seem to do anything about it. He has these one pills he takes before he eats dairy, but according to him they don't keep him from having to go, they just make it so that his stomach is fine and he doesn't explode in the bathroom when he does go. But he doesn't seem to make much effort in limiting his exposure to dairy. Its so simple to ask for no cheese when you order burgers, but something that simple he won't do.

When it comes to what is and isn't a public figure and celebrity now of days, I myself wouldn't consider Vic to be a celebrity. I guess to some degree he should be considered a public figure. In his deposition video they asked him that many times about him being a celebrity, Vic not agreeing with that, and then saying he doesn't consider himself to be one. Honestly I don't see Vic, or the the majority of folks in the anime VAing industry to be celebrities. Public figures maybe, but not celebrities. I'd say the closest those in the VAing industry can get to being considered celebrities would be those that went into the video game industry and made it big there, such as Troy Baker and Laura Bailey. To some degree I'd consider them to be celebrities since they made their names pretty known with their roles in video games, and also their roles in Marvel's cartoons.

but that's... not... possible...

apparently the judge is coming under fire during this. apparently with judge Chupp he has a history of throwing cases out just to get through trials as quickly as possible. I've seen some people say that Vic not showing up for the trial was him "admitting defeat" though that trial was a no win possibility for him with how much the mainstream news decided to focus on it, how they had pictures of Marchi and Rial standing together and united, victims of sexual misconduct standing strong against their assaulter, and etc. This is the point where I'll agree this shit exploded a lot more than it needed to be. One of the big things Funi has been going on about is stating that Vic is a public figure, while in reality he isn't (since the anime community doesn't really garner that kind of interest or exposure to the general public), the judge ruling that Vic is something called a limited use public figure, it's meanings being something like he gained that level of attention because of legal proceedings, or something. I'm pretty sure that's because of all this, as well as his GFM amassing over $200k

mainly want to keep things from 2010 and on, since the majority of what I was interested in from before then I've already seen

I want to give it another shot since I've been seeing quite a bit of it lately. Also I feel like I've built up enough patience since I last played it to be able to stick it out more.

a friend of mine that I work with is lactose intolerant, and probably spends like 2 hours a day total on the toilet. It being a thing where he has to take one several times, and when he is in there making one, he's gone for like 20 to 40 minutes at least. Needless to say it really aggravates our boss. We've all grown used to the way my buddy is, but it's still annoying, especially when we're sitting around for the first 40 minutes before things end and we can get to work, and if he uses the toilet then that means the rest of us are shit out of luck.

There's been so many times I'd spend countless hours downloading a game, installing enough mods to satisfy me, then I'd play the game for 30 mins to an hour and then not touch it for like a year.
-
The question of the year. I've never really cared for the game. Back when it came out I probably dropped at least 10 hours or so into it on the 360 but I just didn't care for it so I sold it. I bought it on pc a few years later and gave it another shot, but still nothing. I went through a phase where I probably installed every sex mod in existence and that got me about 20 hours of game time. A couple years ago I tried giving it another shot, installing like 200 mods, but I think for one reason or another I didn't do much with it. I remember trying to do the same with Fallout 3 but didn't get far into it cause the old ass game kept crashing every 2 minutes. Teach me your secrets. Although I feel like if I really wanted to get into it I'd have to buy the special edition since from what I've heard that version is a lot more stable, especially for mods than the original version.

You downloaded the wrong program, you need to download something from iwanttofuckmypc . com, once you do that the disc drive of your pc will allow you to insert your penis.

I've seen it a few times, it's funny and all, but considering the three main characters are voiced by my least favorite people in the industry right now, I'll pass on it.

Would it be worthwhile to watch the movie versions they released or do I need to go through the actual series? Not that I'm opposed to watching the series, but it'd be less time invested seeing it with the movies than watching a 26 episode series.

NGE has been on my to do list for a good while, but it's another case where I've never gotten around to watching it. I've seen the old FLCL and never cared for it really. Not saying it's bad or anything, but I think it blew up to be a bigger thing than it should have been. at some point I'd probably give its new series a shot to see what AS did with the series. TTGL is love

isn't it weird how there are hundreds of animes today...
High Ground replied to Shiina's topic in Anime & Manga
Animation back then, and for much of the early 00's was a lot more of a tedious thing to do. It's still something that requires a lot of production, but computers and CG have made things easier and more efficient. I remember watching something online a good while back how it was a thing where everything for the most part was drawn on the same shot, so if a mistake happened (depending on what kind of mistake I guess) cut around it or redraw the shot entirely. Things got easier I guess when they had several frames placed on top of each other, like one for backgrounds and one for characters. Though from what I've heard around online it still had similar issues where if you messed up a shot, correcting it was tedious. Now of days with computers it's easier to do framing, some anime studios I heard still do things by hand, while some take advantage of computers to make things go more efficient. I'm not gonna sound like I'm an expert on this shit, I'm just going at things I've heard. elfie would likely know more about what goes into animation. But with how much went into production back in the 90's and earlier, you'd probably only see like 10 series or so a year or season. But interest in anime has exploded in the 00's which fuels the development of it. if you ask me though the industry has become oversaturated -
Perhaps, though I figured people would have used the ones I've mentioned as an idea of what I'd probably be into. Kara no Kyoukai is one I've been meaning to look into, but forgot about it. I started watching twin star exorcists recently, I've only seen the first few episodes but it seems decent so far.
