Wheat beers are great

I like them but I get looked at sideways when I say, "Well, I don't mind Blue Moon with an orange slice.  I don't care that it's made by Coors"

That gets me the, "oh how cute" pat on the head :D

I was enrolled in a special needs school during my formative years and thusly feel entitled to have questions proposed in a way that makes sense to me or else you're being ableist because I have poor eyesight.

That's what I wanted to hear.

You ever see the episode of Bob's Burgers when they ate too many pot cookies? :D

We can do that, I'll even ask you if I'm peeing on myself :D

I died cuz I had a friend that actually did that.  Sometimes she was, mostly she wasn't though :D

That's how I am with shrooms. They're great and all but I feel like I pee on myself whenever I go to the bathroom.  Haven't seen the Bob's Burgers ep, though.

Yeah but if someone's subjective opinion is they hate the homogenized shit that industry produces then they can say it's ruined

This would be a perfect example of how people mistakenly apply aesthetic parameters to economic forces.  It's one thing to say that shutting down established brewery operations because of Prohibition changed the kind of beer that was produced, and another entirely different thing to say that Prohibition changed how people appraised or appreciated beer.

I wasn't referring to IPA's when I was insulting our national standers, I was instead referring to the bland bread water like slop that most people actually drink, shit like budlight, natural ice, and bush beer. I IPA's are fine I just don't like them, too bitter.

As it happens I am enjoying a Sam Adams porch rocker right now, it was the most refreshing looking thing in the fridge.

i already addressed that point though too. i do not know the history of beer laws in china, but i can't find any record of there having been a ban on alcohol at any time there in the last 2,000 years. and yet, they produce the largest quantity of "bland bread water"-type beers in the world. snow lager is the single best-selling beer there is, more than bud or busch or their light varieties, and most of it is consumed within china. you can't even get it here. so china, which has not had that prohibition-type of blanket-ban on the production and consumption of alcohol at any time in modern history, is responsible for producing one of the blandest, most watery beers there is. and their people vacuum it up. so i don't think it can be said that a lack of production based on any laws is responsible for producing beer to satiate a shitty palate.

while i'm not drinking beer right now, i enjoyed a couple kona golden ales last night, plus a toppling goliath pale ale that was spectacular.

they're expensive for a four-pack and I don't know anyone else who drinks them

this reminds me. i have to put in a pre-buy order for a couple cases of these today. it's tough to get around here, so i have to order it now in order to have a chance at getting any when it's released in september.
