Still Me
i made a claim on the hail damage of my vehicle...I'm also getting ready to leave my current insurance company...will they still pay the claim? I would call and ask them but I'm not sure about... bringing light to the fact I'm leaving them if they won't pay afterwards... also every god dammed shop I go to...I request an estimate and they tell me "I can't give you and estimate on the damage until you drop the car here for repairs"...I DONT FUCKING WANT YOU TO REPAIR IT...I want you to quote me for the damage and then I can find someone to do it cheaper...then this guy today told me to take the car to a paintless dent repair shop but good luck finding one...wtf... i don't have rental coverage and I need it repaired the same day I leave it...I know friends of friends who can do it easy within an hour...it shouldn't be this fucking hard
1pooh4u
If you were insured and up to date on payments and put in a claim, even if you leave them after, they are responsible for paying as they were your insurance at the time. If you don't put in a claim and leave them for another company you'd be screwed

Still Me
how did they decide upon that amount? well the actual amount is 1,450...but I have a $500 deductible that they take off the top...but someone came out and looked at it and then they told me to take it to a place of my choosing to get it repaired...but they said if their is more damage on the car than what that agent saw they would pay up to that $500 ...so say the work is really $2000...they would pay 1500
Distortedreasoning
cant you just pick any place to get it repaired and rent a car? thats what i did last time, though i did have a $500 deductible.

Distortedreasoning
ah ok. in that case they should just be able to give you free estimates by taking your car there without having them repairing your car. if not tell hem youll take your business elsewhere.
