MacFarlane admitted Ted costs Live Action One Piece/Game of Thrones levels of cash, and that’s the main reason they don’t want to do more.

I knew that much, and I guess it’s easy for me to be coy about it now except I thought the animated series was a horseshit idea since it was announced during the 1st season.

A cartoon that doesn’t need to exist would be worth pennies in comparison, but the amount of money from said worthless cartoon could be spent on funny worthwhile show everyone wants. In some capacity.

This feels WAY too late in Family Guy’s life cycle to be a thing. There are already so many Stewie centric episode of Family Guy. 
 

Plus, do people like Stewie specifically, or do they enjoy the duo of Stewie and Brian? Cause this feels like it misses what makes those episodes popular.

People liked Stewie specifically way back when he was matricidal and aspired to take over the world, rather than just a magnet for gay jokes.

I may be preaching to the choir here, but I don't know why we needed a whole show starring Stewie Griffin in the late 2020s.

I will say this, however: If Disney didn't own Fox, this would've made it to Adult Swim's primetime hours almost instantly.

Stewie on his own isn’t funny. It’s Brian pointing out the ridiculous things he thinks or does AND Stewie’s making fun of Brian’s tendencies
