ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I don't suppose there's any way to short cut this is there? Just start from the other end of the Grand Line. 😄
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 So the Minks already hated Samurai before this. Or at least the cat guy did heh. Wonder what happened. The battle went for 5 days straight, really? How is that possible? Even with the Minks switching off, Jack should have tired out. There it is again! Jack just removed an injury! There is no doubt he has some sort of invulnerability. Law's crew was there too. 1
saito34 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I actually recently started buying packs of one piece cards. Highly recommend just from a collector standpoint. The art is awesome and a lot of cards are super rare/valuable 1
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 OK so Jack probably didn't tire out in the same way he keeps getting over injuries. And I see he had reinforcements. Poison? Caesar involved? And somehow no one died from this. A rainruption probably happened right after lol.
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Oh there were actual deaths. I'm shocked. So Jack is more effective than a Buster Call LOL. 1
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 The Beast Pirates act more like the mafia than pirates. Keep insisting someone is there when he's not and going on a rampage.
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Resorting to using one of Caesar's bioweapons when things started to go against him... what a sleazeball this guy is. Or was I guess, since they're mentioning his obituary. Wonder why him and his men were so convinced the samurai was there, as well as why they wanted him in the first place. 1
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 That bump LOL. We finally got new ones. After all that Jack just died? Well this arc will be over soon LOL.
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted January 18 Posted January 18 LMAO Guess Caesar is full of hot air after all. 1
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 I think you mean it's a bad idea for YOU to land here, Caesar. Chopper in a football helmet? Yet another sexy outfit for Nami LOL. Brook will fight them??
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Brook used ice somehow? Talking skeleton and a floating eel. Yeah you might want to avoid poison gas...
ben0119 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 So a rainruption never happened in all this time to wash the gas away??
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted January 18 Posted January 18 They should just make Caesar suck up and get rid of all the gas. I'm guessing they probably will, but don't get why that thought didn't occur to them right away. 1

I think it was like only a day since used the gas till the Curly Hat group showed up. Still, at least one rainruption should have occurred during that time you would think. Still, it depends a bit on the nature of the gas. Could be it's particulates are not that dissolvable. 1

Given the geography of the Grand Line it seems like it should just be a matter of climbing down the other side of Reverse Mountain and sailing in the opposite direction. Wonder why that doesn't work. 1

Was there an explanation when they first got into the Grand Line that I forgot or something yet to be revealed? I know you can't go in from the north or south because the still water and winds on either side.
OwlChemist81 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Plus, I guess it's kinda difficult for a pirate ship to sail in a direction the winds don't blow you! 1

I know you can't go in from the north or south because the still water and winds on either side. The Navy is actually capable of sailing through the Calm Belt using ships whose hulls were plated in Sea Prism Stone, which (usually) prevents the Sea Kings that live there from noticing them. When Koby meets up with the Straw Hats in Water 7, he reveals that this is how he got into the Grand Line on Garp's ship, though the Navy keeps this ability under wraps for the strategic advantage it provides them. There are a few other people who have been shown crossing through the Calm Belts too: the island of Amazon Lily is located within one of them, but Boa Hancock and the Kuja tribe are able to move through it freely, probably because their ship is pulled by those two giant sea serpents. And Rayleigh was able to swim freely to Amazon Lily because he has balls the size of planets. Given that, there doesn't seem to be any reason why someone couldn't just sail straight to Laugh Tale from the outside if it was simply a matter of geography. The fact that no one has up to this point strongly suggests that there's something else at work, but we don't know what that is yet. ...well, maybe I already know what it is and you don't. Or maybe I'm in the dark too. Suspense! 1
