i remember thinking this last week, when we discovered that Yhwach was the song of the soul king. but having a name that was frequently romanized as YHWH (as i recall) and being the son of god sort of carries a weird connotation.

Uryu with a kinda random ass power boost to be keeping up with them considering, unlike Vegeta in comparison to Goku in that show, he's never been shown to have truly even reached briefly being Ichigo's equal in power on screen, let alone someone from up here who are "supposedly" on a completely different level.

It never made much sense that the ghosts, Soul Reapers, and Hollows had blood, but for whatever reason, that is how Kubo designed them, so we have to go with it. 😄

Maybe Uryu trained off screen and we know he got a power boost by Juha Bach (and just now got another one.)  Uryu actually has a lot more screen time in the anime version of this arc compared to the manga, if you can believe that.
