But Super Saiyan 4 isn't canon!  Goku shouldn't be able to turn into it without his tail either.  Also never liked it much.  My favorite was always Super Saiyan 2, but 3 is awesome as well!  4, no, just no.

Definitely one of the coolest Goku variants. I didn't know it made an appearance in Daima.

I dunno, I like 4, even if it's not canon. I never really saw much of a difference between 1 and 2 though. SS2 is pretty much just 1 with some electricity running around them.

Super Saiyan 2 had bigger hair with more, smaller spikes, with them being more defined, in addition to the blue electric bolts.  

Canon or not, I always thought Super Saiyan 4 was kind of eh.  No glowing hair and the fur?  I get the whole primal, animalistic aspect about it but I don't know, never been a fan.
