The Saint Seiya knockoff that was actually successful in the US, and an old old school Toonami show is getting a sequel/remake with a new cast of Samurai Troopers.

Of all the 90s shows to get remade, Ronin Warriors was among the lowest on the list of expectations.

Sunrise / Bamco Pictures bringing back Samurai Troopers / Ronin Warriors is pretty wild. Why that? Why now? Who could say. Looks pretty neat though.

Here’s the opening.  Weirdly, after the announcement it was going to be sub-only on Crunchyroll, it has left their website.  Maybe DeMarco did get it.  Or Viz.
