OwlChemist81 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 It's almost time for Toonami to come back from the UNdead! Midnight tonight, ONLY TOONAMI!! 3
DangerMouse Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Spoiler Watanabe using the "big band" type music in the teaser scene clip was kinda awesome. Good to have it back. Very few anime seem to use that kind of music other than some of his, and Trigun/Blood Blockade Battlefront, and Baccano. 1
saito34 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Why did i think this was next week? This is such an epic surprise. What a historic night. A new Watanabe show. 1 1
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Painkiller? What about the Amish? Don't they not believe in taking any kind of modern medicine? Surely there'd be at least some people who didn't take the stuff. 2
ben0119 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 I mean, a painkiller wouldn't actually cure any diseases though haha.
DangerMouse Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Looks like she might be our hacker on the crew.
CorbeauKarasu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 888 years? that's a bit premature, kid...plus, you don't like school? 1
ben0119 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Never got the point of those centuries' long prison sentences haha. Another whackjob mad scientist. Mutates?! That's not how drugs work! Oh, he's actually revealing himself and admitting he has a cure. That phone actually looks less advanced than current phones haha. 1

ben0119 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 So I'm guessing this stuff was probably as about as common as Tylenol and that's why so many people are freaking out.

At least the people on North Sentinel Island and other uncontacted tribes will survive haha. 1

CorbeauKarasu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 this is how people are reacting to a worldwide death event? 1
CorbeauKarasu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 "back" doesn't rhyme with "butt," commercial. 1
ben0119 Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 When you make a gross obnoxious ad like this it only makes me want to AVOID your product, deodorant company.

CorbeauKarasu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 lol emergency recall. it's way too latre now 1
Dark_Cloud_Overhead Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 Whether it's a virus or a drug, really feels farfetched one could ever be developed with such a long time delay before it becomes dangerous to people. Also, some people will take more hapna than others, so wouldn't increased useage result in some people getting sicker sooner? Really would have to be one hell of a genius to create something like that. Also, hard to believe anything that potentially lethal could get past FDA approval without being detected. Given it's the central premise the show is based upon though, guess don't have much of a choice but to just go with. 2

CorbeauKarasu Posted April 6, 2025 Posted April 6, 2025 it felt a bit rushed to me during the first act, but this feels a lot more reasonable
