Top Gun Posted February 3 Posted February 3 I've probably said this a half-dozen times before, but it's incredible to me how most of the main characters in this series are introduced as completely fucking awful people. I legit can't think of another shounen where the people I'm supposed to be cheering for are this unlikeable from the start. Those Shippuden filler episodes when they jump back to pre-genin times and show the characters paling around crack me up because, no, they clearly hated each other's guts back then. Hell, even this first OP is a lie, there's no point in the entire series when Squad 7 all act that nice towards each other. Quote
