Clearly she's being manipulated, and perhaps influenced physically too in some way too with how they showed her eyes change after clearly first showing concern she was scaring all those people, so it makes sense (and they got a little Kryptonian action out of it, which is why I expected they'd go this route), but I really hope it doesn't take too long.
