The Pentagon did not inform senior officials in the White House’s National Security Council of Austin’s hospitalization until Thursday — three days after he arrived at Walter Reed Medical Center, a U.S. official confirms. katt_goddess Posted January 7 Share Posted January 7 He is only 6th in line to the Presidency itself so not being immediately forthcoming about the hospitalization is unusual but not necessarily super bad. I tend to wait until I'm heading into the hospital itself before sending a quick text just in case.
