Threads is being integrated with Mastodon

Threads is officially beginning integration with ActivityPub, the protocol that Mastodon is hosted on. So basically you'll be able to see Mastodon posts on Threads. Honestly I don't get it and I think federated platforms are kind of a waste of time.

Changes in technology, especially dealing with computers, will always sound like a new fad that people who lack skepticism get excited about. 

And I've had that attitude since I was first hyped to use the World Wide Web in the 90s.
