Yeah, which show is incredibly important, like if it was a Fox show the show may have censored itself. Because it was made for broadcast, not cable.

Fox tends to censor things randomly sometimes. With American Dad, it depends a lot on which season is airing too. Earlier ones blur random things like middle fingers that fly just fine in later seasons. 

It also depends on when in the time slots something was originally airing too. If it was originally earlier, it was a pre-emptive censor to allow for kids still being up in early time zones.
