My cat is going nuts

Recommended Posts

I forget a cat can even feel neglected..but I guess mine does simular things. It grew up with my border collie already playing that schtik though so he knows better. He's opted to just trying to trip me in the kitchen, and go postal when he hears a can opener going instead.

But cat claws are like razor wire. *shudders*

Yes, they are. I once had a black cat named Justice (named after a baseball player, I think) who was chill as hell, really. But when he'd want you to pet him, if you ever took your hand away even for a little bit, he'd reach out with his paw and claw you, directing your hand back to his body so you can keep petting him. He also got accustomed to my brother petting him...a lot. I don't think he ever got the same level of attention from me, though I did try several times. I guess my brother is the Cat Whisperer. lol

That’s awesome. Are you talking about David Justice? I was a HUGE Braves fan when I was a kid. Funny, every cat I’ve ever had scratched me because they wanted me to stop petting them. Never had one do it for the opposite reason. 😅

Actually, yeah. My brother and I liked David Justice. (We were both Astros fans, but we also liked the Braves some as well due to their being on TBS all the time.)

Everything about my cat is sharp, even the barbs on her tongue are sharper than any of the other cats I've had.  It's one of the two reasons I named her Nera after the Roman Emperor Nero (the first week I had her I was a bloody mess, literally.)  She also either can't or doesn't know how to retract her claws which I found out from her vet might be because cats learn to retract their claws when they're young and are able to socialize with other cats but I found Nera when she was super young and she didn't get to socialize with other cats at that time.  I could have trained her apparently if I had noticed it early enough but I didn't question it right away.  Funny watching her get up from the couch or bed though, gets stuck w/o fail every single time, you can also hear her on the hardwood floor as she's entering a room.

At least you know she's always in attack mode when an intruder comes in the house. lol

Yeah, that lion was in a foul mood.

I like the lady who's was like, "come away, he wants to eat his food."  She's the only one there who isn't like, 'we're at the zoo, the animals are here for us."
