Mathematician Jacques Tits has died at the age of 91

He was the man behind the Tits buildings, the Tits group, and the Tits alternative.

This is a sad time for the math community and @Doom Metal Alchemist.

Jacques Tits was a Belgian-born French mathematician who worked on group theory and incidence geometry.
