Will premiere sometime in Spring of next year to coincide with the release of the mobile games. It will also have a preview of the spinoff that everyone, including myself, forgot existed or was even mentioned.

Considering they have the big LA movie and the Hathaway trilogy, most likely.

The LA movie might be interesting.

Netflix has just decided to own the market, it is a matter of budget. AT&T doesn't consider the niche market to be worth fighting over, when they can spend their resources competing in more mainstream markets.

I wish we got to here the full story behind that episode.  IIRC the only think Tomino ever said about banning it was "He know what he did."

It could still be that Toonami has right of first refusal on Gundam properties, and just chose to pass on the movies.

But a new series that isn't Build Fighters or Divers just might do the trick. Even so, with the last Gundam show they aired, Gundam: The Origin getting a stellar promo, but being relegated to 3 AM, it's hard to know just what the hell they're thinking when it comes to Gundam.

If they acquire the 9-part IBO special AND Witch from Mercury, we'll know Toonami is still serious about Gundam!

That series ended on a terrible note.  The latter portion of the second season was terrible in general, actually.  And it was the only Gundam show I liked besides G Gundam.  So, bleh.
