Jman Posted February 10 Author Posted February 10 One Piece and Styx. A combination no one expected till now. Quote
Sketch Posted February 11 Posted February 11 But it was so obvious to use "Come Sail Away" with One Piece Anyway, I'm hyped but some of the costumes are real party city vibe and that's unfortunate. Quote
Jman Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/one_piece_2023/s02/reviews The reviews are coming in and they are incredibly positive. They’re praising an unabashed commitment to the proverbial bit, with no winking or Joss Whedon style bullshit. Quote
EmpressAngel Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) I'm two episodes in and yeah, they're absolutely fucking nailing it. Spoiler I'm not crying, you're crying. Edited March 12 by EmpressAngel Quote
naraku360 Posted March 14 Posted March 14 (edited) I'm really looking forward to when I get around to watching the new One Piece second draft. Edited March 14 by naraku360 Quote
Jman Posted March 14 Author Posted March 14 I’m three episodes in between college basketball and this remains good, threading the line between earnestness and not overdoing the goofiness. Spoiler Dammit, that whale. No wonder they got a Game of Thrones veteran to play Crocus. 1 Quote
EmpressAngel Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Finished season 2 and my biggest gripe is that they made Kureha way too hot. How am I supposed to focus on the story when I'm thinking about Dommy Mommy Doctor beating the shit out of me and then nursing me back to health- I mean, yeah the season was good. I sobbed like a bitch through all of Chopper's backstory. 1 Quote
Jman Posted March 16 Author Posted March 16 Episode 4. Jurassic Park would have been very different if the Straw Hats were in it. Quote
Sketch Posted March 23 Posted March 23 That season was awesome and seeing Laboon on the big screen was a real treat when I saw the two ep screening on March 10th. Quote
