CountFrylock Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 some idiots charging over a hundred dollars for five volumes of chainsaw man or a couple Jujutsu Kaisen Volumes or the first three spy family volumes... it's insane....more so because I Realize there are people paying those outlandish prices Quote
Chapinator_X Posted August 1, 2021 Posted August 1, 2021 Pretty sure it’s people trying their damndest to place some kind of value on a used manga. They go into a store or warehouse at a $10-$20 value, but once it’s purchased, you couldn’t pay someone to buy them at a rate higher than a dollar each. I ended up giving away stacks of Bleach and Black Butler to thrift stores because they were worthless by the time I wanted to sell them online. 1 Quote

I Mean maybe that would be the case if stuff like Chainsaw Man didn't seem to be out of stock across the board if these people could simply buy a couple volumes from amazon or rightstuf at retail price they would however that's not an option currently Quote

Martinman Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 *Cries in missing volumes 8 and 9 of Eden: It's an Endless World....and everything after volume 14 which will probably never be released in the US. Quote
Ric Posted August 2, 2021 Posted August 2, 2021 I haven't checked on manga in forever but surprising. Video games, anime, figures, all that shit gets scalped. Quote
