André Toulon
Trying to wear myself out really well because I don't think these people understand how little I can sleep.......Bout to run a few miles and gonna get a carved turkey dinner from the deli. I have to check in at 8pm and I can't leave until 5am.......No way I can sleep that long. Being optimistic I figure I won't actually get to go to bed until like 10pm evaluating for equipment set up, and any pre-study questioning, and I'll assume I'll be getting set up for departure at 4am, but that's still pushing it........If I go to sleep at 10pm, I'll be up again at 1am.......2am at the latest. Probably just overthinking this, and some people say they'll give me something to help me sleep but the nurse I talked to yesterday said to bring any sleep aid I use with me.........Pretty sure they don't mean Vodka, so here's hoping they got something on deck. Derackthehunter
Definitely try to get some physical exorcize in that'll help a lot other than unless they forbid supplements you could get some melatonin

Like if youre not already sleepy its not gonna work. Running my help. And I'm sure theyll cut out his normal distractions that keep him awake. André Toulon
Melatonin does nothing for me and my doctor says that the idea that it "puts you to sleep" is a myth......It improves your sleep patterns over time with proper daily doses. This was from my primary care doctor and not the pulmonary doctor that wants me to be vegan, so I trust her more. Off topic, I'm pretty sure Walmart isn't going to have any of the stuff you sent me, but I'll bet Alberton's does, so when I cross the border tomorrow, I'll look for some of that stuff. Phillies
I don't see the point for a normal person to get a sleep study. There are all kinds of things you can do before having someone monitor your brain so they can then prescribe you something which isn't necessary. However there ares medical situations for certain specific issues (like a patient with epilepsy who has a neurologist) wherein this might be required. Stop drinking and turn the lights off before bed and stay in a cool dark room. Booze obviously disrupts sleep while under the influence, also substance use in general (booze to) can disrupt sleep even when not under the influence. The brain is a sensitive organ. This study isn't FOR insomnia....My insomnia is why I'm worried I won't get the results needed, but thanks for your diagnosis Dr. Phillies........Do I just set up billing with Waifu on my way out. André Toulon
Sweet dreams, Buddy. You wouldn't post that if you knew how long I've been trying to get Freddy to visit me in my dreams.....That dude is hilarious. Well he was in NoES 1-3.....After that he got to be a hack of his own material. Only celebrities that have ever popped into my nightmares are Peewee Herman, 50 Cent, and Nemesis. André Toulon
From RE? My dreams never have anything cool. Yeah, it's one of the few times I remeber actually being terrified in a dream......Another was when a sweat shirt that was hanging on my ceiling fan was talking in a deep voice and trying to get off the hanger to kill me, but there was no way out of the room
Ric
All I've had lately are dreams that I don't remember but wake up because apparently I was falling.

He scared the shit out of me until I saw Dream Warriors and actually dreamed about kicking his ass. The only dreams that have freaked me out since then were Clive Barker style nightmares brought on by forgetting anti-depressant doses, or the being trapped in Hell ones. fuggnificent
I don't understand what exactly you are doing something to do with his lungs? i dunno either. he already got a diagnosis
André Toulon
I don't understand what exactly you are doing 1. Don't listen to the mental deficient above me.......She has NO idea what's going on despite her being in the FB thread where I announced my sleep apnea. She still thinks this has something to do with me wheezing and gasping, but it's to determine what's going on when I sleep 2. I'm being monitored for periods in my sleep where I stop breathing and my heart rate skyrockets......In reality it's the swelling of my sinuses and air passages in my throat.......My lungs are fine, if the air could actually get there my lung will do their job. I just got home and they said that I have around 15 "events" an hour and more REM than normal (not sure why that's relevant, but I find it cool fpr spme reason)......They weren't clear what these "events" were but they were just the techs, they said my doctor whill give me the real results. BUt like I said, I went to sleep around 10 and got up at about 2.......They said they got what they needed and cut me loose. Apparently I'll be coming back though.
