Skiles Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Like, I get it and I respect it. But man, I just don't like that song at all. Personally, any time I hear it, I'll walk away, or put headphones in, or change the radio. No roasties or anything. I'm glad people like it. I just really, really don't. 😐
PhilosipherStoned Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 It's a good song.. Especially for unwinding or dive bar atmosphere (things like that) but I get why someone might feel that way about it. I can only handle it small doses myself even though I think it is a classic rock staple.
Mortir Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Eh Free Bird is way better anyway plus you cannot top Hold on Loosely by 38 Special.
PhilosipherStoned Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Free bird < Simple Man. Maybe not in high doses, but man even the band gets annoying after hearing Free Bird overplayed... That's my opinion anyway, and I like what they did with the song.

tsar4 Posted December 19, 2020 Posted December 19, 2020 How do you feel about "Turn the Page" by Bob Seger?

I bought it, but then it was played to death on every radio station and then "Another Brick in the Wall" made it onto Muzak... 1
