5 episodes aired in 2019. Now 5 more will air in 2020.

I'm no mathematician, but the last time I checked, 5 + 5 = 10.

You said there were always going to be 10 episodes, which I interpreted as "only 10, no more, no less". Hence why I quoted that part and not the part that divvied up what years they would be airing in.
