I'm shopping around today. I can find something decent with my budget. Nothing fancy just something to get me to work/gigs

Well the saturn and Toyota both couldn't handle my driving style and the transmission started skipping after a few weeks of driving. The mazda handles me amazingly without complaining and i haven't had any issues with it in 5 years other than normal wear and tear....nothing not covered by the $0 deductible warranty

Good luck. Keep us updated.

damn :( I had some really good times in that car. It was a piece of shit but it was my piece of shit. Tho I wont miss not having working AC and a radio

I remember my first car.  It was a purple Sunfire.  I loved going fast in that thing.  Too bad I let a friend borrow it once.  It was the only time I did, too, because wouldn't you know it, she fucking ran a red light and t-boned a minivan.  Both cars got totaled, and I had to have my insurance cover everything.

That's okay, though.  I now have a blue Nissan Versa hatchback, and I love it!

Did your ex-friend die in the wreck?

No, thank God.  She was wearing her seat belt.  And we made up recently so we're friends again.  We grew up together so there's no way I was getting rid of my ride or die.
