Have you ever had a dream (nightmare) that you died in...

and it was so surreal that when you woke up you got nervous that everything in your dream actually happened and you were in the afterlife? Or, more appropriately, dreams that you woke up from right at the point of death, and when you woke up you already assumed that you had just died.

 

I know you definitely have. That's happened to me on several occasions, but when I realize I'm still alive, I'm elated.

You'll wake up before death...I've felt hot bullets enter my body, and warm blood pour from my body as I just get colder with my assailant standing over me about to fire the last shot....Only to wake up.

I've died in my dreams a few times actually. Those are the best ones.  That whole you'll wake up before you die thing used to be true for me, but I think when I started getting into the occult, and expirimenting with lucid dreaming that changed.

I can't remember ever having dreams where I've died. But I've had very vivid dreams where I've killed someone, and spent most of the dream hiding from the police.
