What does everyone think of this show?  I think it should still be on Toonami.

I mean... and no harm towards Poke for this, but if Toonami can air Dimension W, this one could feasibly make a comeback.

It technically aired on [adult swim], and even they regret it.

Besides, if I wanted another Mitsuru Hongo anime on Toonami after Outlaw Star and IGPX, I'd rather have REIDEEN.

I saw the first episode. I think it should, but they made it clear they don't wanna focus on old anime right now.

all I know about it is that it's apparently largely agreed that it's manga was better than the anime....but the horrendous failure of the anime killed it's manga

 

also there's a bunch of eps that never got dubbed, apparently Diskotek released them stateside in 2016

As cliched as Pilot Candidate is, it would be considered an above average anime by today's standards in which people think My Hero Academia and Hunter x Hunter are good and is better than modern mecha series like Gundam: IBO. Isn't that sad?

it was pretty terrible. laughably nonsensical. interesting aesthetics, but that comes from being the work of D.N.Angel's creator -- who is notoriously bad at continuity and making endings.
