discolé monade Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 i seriously doubt i'll be able to stay awake. i'm going to try to make it to 11. 2022 is the next time. there's some cloud..but it's been pretty visible so far. very bright tonight.

Top Gun Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Every time the mass media appends another goddamn prefix to a perfectly-normal event I die a little more inside. 1
viperxmns Posted January 21, 2019 Posted January 21, 2019 Cold as fuck here, was just barely able to see the moon from one window 1
discolé monade Posted January 21, 2019 Author Posted January 21, 2019 oh. i totally missed it. like i knew i would. i fought to stay up past 1030, stayed outside for about 20 minutes (cold af), but in the end, i got to see a piece of the eclipse starting. i would have loved to see the red in person, but a local page i follow, got a really lovely pic. and of course all the media (ifls, et al) i'll see it through photo. 2022, that'll be my year. 1
wacky1980 Posted January 22, 2019 Posted January 22, 2019 i actually got the chance to get a clear view. too cold to take the telescope outside (lenses would have frosted/fogged instantly) so i just used my phone to take a pic. 1 1
