Mini_ghost420
I know it sounds silly, but it's true. The tarantula provides the frog protection from predators and a food source from insects feeding on the remains of its prey. The frog's foraging protects the tarantula's eggs from ants.

PhilosipherStoned
I didn't know this. That sounds concievable in the natural world, but is there really an amphibian that practices a symbiotic realationship with tarantulas? I know of A LOT of species of frogs, and toads however I don't recall ever hearing about one nesting with tarantulas. What happens when her eggs hatch! Those slings would make a tasty meal for any frog I would think. Edited January 19, 2019 by PhilosipherStoned

The frog could easily take em when they first hatch at least I'd think But I mean that would be signing it's own death warrant anyway I'm sure.
