ha! over engineering, indeed. 

also, i wonder how long it will take before the purchase of fart spray and glitter will be monitered. 

i also found it amusing that the thieves actually got pissed at getting glitter~bombed. xD

Personally, I wouldn't have used the "fart spray", I"d have the thing aerosolize a full bottle of "Doe-in-Heat" or something similarly obnoxious that won't come out of the car/house readily.

Meh I get that over engineering a solution was the point of the vid, and thieves are often dumb as shit..

but none of them were curious enough to reverse engineer it for some good money..hmmm.

It's supposed to look like some sort of expensive electronics gear.  The fake package said "HomePod".  He really didn't need to use 4 cell phones.
