I'm eternally grateful that our two dogs don't bark unless someone unknown is right at our door. We got lucky. Rarely ever hear a peep out of them.

Was worried early on because they are small and kinda yappy. But they're good dogs.

I believe you can train a dog to not bark.

A lot of people don't want to take the time or effort to do that, so they just tune it out instead.

The same kinds of people leave their dog outside 24/7 regardless of weather.

Dogs are great and wonderful pets that bring joy and companionship to millions of people. It would just be better if a small amount of dog owners were not allowed to have pets.
