So theres a store near the gym for poor people that sells a bunch of off brand stuff mixed with name brand. Real shifty. I remember watching this vid where a lady went to dollar general and found a product...vanilla extract..with the same ingredients as antifreeze claiming they were meant to kill or make poor people unhealthy.

So i already got groceries from Walmart pickup..cuz i fucking hate shopping at Walmart..refuse to go in there and bad shit happens everytime i do. Anyway..noticed i didnt get enough cream cheese for my cream cheese crab egg rolls. So i go to the poor people store on my way to the gym and why does the poor people store smell exactly like embalming fluid or formaldehyde?

I've never noticed this myself and I go to "poor people stores" all the time either with clients or by myself because I like saving money.

Not sure what the first half of your post has to do with anything but personally I'm really worried about the levels of dihydrogen monoxide in dollar store products.

Okay but my point is that different chemical compounds have different uses and react differently when mixed with other chemical compounds.

So u really trust corporations that much u ok with antifreeze ingredients in cheaper versions of food products? That doesnt set off any alarms? why does it have to be in cheap vanilla extract and not the more expensive brand? Critical thinking skills are becoming rare in the usa. I wish they weren't only taught in college because the country is running right into the fucking toilet.

You mean the types of people who say things like "Cola can eat through battery acid, imagine what it can do to your body" which would be a dire warning if my body were made of battery acid

Looks like propylene glycol is used in quite a few food items as well as cosmetics (not just the dollar store stuff), has several different uses, and takes large quantities to really do any damage.

"It would be nearly impossible to reach toxic levels by consuming foods or supplements, which contain at most 1 g/kg of PG, except for alcoholic beverages in the US which are allowed 5 percent = 50g/kg" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Propylene_glycol#Safety_in_humans)

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/propylene-glycol

That took me like 5 minutes of Googling. I'm not saying we shouldn't question what kinds of things are being put into our food and why but taking time to research and think about things is better than the sensationalist response of "OMG ANTIFREEZE IS LITERALLY BEING PUT INTO OUR FOOD". As far as the vanilla extract is concerned, real vanilla is expensive as fuck but it looks like this stuff can be used as an alternative (https://vanillaqueen.com/vanilla-extract-an-insiders-view/)

I like how she stopped responding after I showed her my critical thinking skills but used them against her

propelene glycol is used sooo much in pre packaged foods as a preservitive, and well it;s used in just about every manufactured mixture you can think of so I'm sure its in antifreeze.. ethylene glycol is what the bulk of the mixture is though, and that's the shit that will leave you blind and doubled over in pain for the next agonizing hour or so of your life.

Propelene glycol is a big part of the e cigs, or "vaping" mixtures as well as half of the worlds pre-packaged foods.

Stop calling it the damn poor persons store. walmart is really not upscaling it much fuggs.

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize that "peer-reviewed studies in reputable scientific journals" equated to "corporate bullshit" in fuggs-land.
