There are many "hot rod tricks" as I call them...

Like hammering bread into the back of a crankshaft to remove a pilot bearing, or putting a rope down the spark plug hole to loosen/tighten bolts on a rotating engine part.

OR, even a pipe wrench on a socket because I already broke one twelve year old ratchet and did not have a 17mm socket in 1/2" drive.

Or using an empty tennis ball can to temporarily patch an exhaust pipe.

Or pouring a quart of oil down a straightpipe glass pack to fuse the glass & give it that low rumble.

I've done the latter with hot and cold water to bust out the glass for a loud rumble.

Have also JB Welded dirtbike crank cases.
