They put one gift in the mailbox and dumped the rest in front of my door.

In an apartment complex.

In the bad side of town.

Thanks, UPS.  Wonder if I can get it replaced, those were for my sister's kids.

If they left them in front of your door how is that stealing? Just trying to follow along....

I'm assuming they mean UPS left them in a bad spot, and someone else took them.

UPS sucks ass in some places.

If you have proof of delivery from them, you might be able to call and bitch them out, but honestly I'm not sure what UPS would either be able to do about it, or give a shit about it.

If the delivery driver fucked up, like if they were supposed to get a signature in person or something, then you might have more luck.  Or if the stuff was insured shipping.  Depending on what it was and where you bought it from, maybe try contacting the seller instead?  That might get better results.

Actually managed to handle the problem really easily.  Contacted Amazon about it, and they pretty much immediately refunded the money I spent, even sent an e-mail saying I didn't need to send the items back or even prove they were stolen.

Guess the fact lots of folks were dealing with this issue this year helped me out.

If a UPS driver is delivering multiple packages to the same address all at once, they are supposed to get a signature.

At least, that's how it is where I live.

Yeah Amazon is really good about that stuff. I had a laptop I ordered for work stolen off my front porch and they immediately sent me a replacement with signature confirmation required.

And by immediately I mean immediately - it was delivered on one of their warehouse vans in like 3 and a half hours after I made the call.

Same here, but that doesn't mean they always do it.  Especially when they're super busy.
