I like lamb.  It’s a constant from halal places around here, and I cook a rather good leg of lamb.  It works really well in lieu of beef.

 

But I notice a lot of people really don’t like it.  Too fatty I hear, or just more general complaints.  So, after making leg of lamb for dinner, I must ask: what’s your take?

We have lamb often, but we usually cook the gamey taste out of it so it's not as potent. We usually have it with Arabic food, but I also enjoy the standard leg/rack of lamb with mint jelly.

I've never had it outside of a Gyro.

Best meat available.
