Demarco and friends had to make multiple trips to Japan and do all sorts of negotiating to get Gundam for Toonami. Basically they had to suck giant mecha Gundam cock to get this and Unicorn. All that time and money for two shows that have no chance of being successful in the US.

Just hopefully the next brand new Gundam series is better than IBO, the last one I really loved was Gundam 00. Both IBO (so far) and Reconguista are rather mediocre. Not counting Unicorn since that started as the OVAs which I enjoyed a lot, though the ending could have been stronger. I'm ready. This should be interesting, supposedly this season is also better than the first, we'll see.
