SC is at least kind of reasonable. you all get hit every now and then. we, on the other hand, haven't had a hurricane since hugo in 1989. hell, we're where all the outer banks people go to wait out the storm.

nameraka Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 you're also not exactly in the same place as me, probably i live in a small town in the sticks no one has ever heard of, so i usually just tell people charlotte. also, i'm right behind you... right now...

nameraka Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 true but this storm is worse than hugo. i am where i was during hugo and we didnt have power or water for a week afterwards. i wasn't living in here when hugo hit, but i'm from florida, so i kinda know the drill. my guess is, as far off as the storm is now, we'll have time to buy supplies if it changes direction. of course, i've been wrong before. once. i don't like to talk about that.
1938 Packard Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 because of the hurricane. we're 200 miles inland in fucking north carolina. stupid fucking rednecks... Why not just get one of these and fill it with tap water before the storm starts?
nameraka Posted September 7, 2017 Author Posted September 7, 2017 Why not just get one of these and fill it with tap water before the storm starts? that's not a bad idea. i think i have one out in the shed.
Professah Tex Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 People are buying gas like crazy here in Texas as well. Maybe elsewhere. My friend in Dallas said he had to wait 45 minutes in a line about two blocks long to get gas, and he even took a photo of a guy filling up two big ass trash cans in the back of his truck with gas.
