1938 Packard Posted August 3, 2017 Author Share Posted August 3, 2017 That's more of a glorified sand bar. The difference between an island and sand bar is the stone base beneath the island. Sand bars don't have that. As for the swamp, I'm referring to the conditions that were directly caused by the man made dunes. They won't let storm water wash out to sea.
