Measurements for the bar have begun.

I'm about to slice this big bitch into two sections for the top. It's 2' thick press-board, with an oak veneer on both sides. The underside is unfinished, but had been written on with a marker so I am staining the top black to keep the grain, then I'm gonna polyurethane the fuck out of it for a deep look.

I am debating a bar rail though, part of me wants to put my boat restoration skills to good use and make a shark skin leather padded rail. The drip tray will be routed out of the bar top to give it a seamless look. I already have a lower bar shelf that used to be a bench, so it's already finished.

The hardest part will be getting the two sections lined up and attached for a seamless bar top, but luckily I have a biscuit cutting tool and some bar clamps.

(yes it's a flat piece, I just got silly with the panoramic.)

You need to do like a DIY show, like those two hot twin brothers, I dunno what the show's about or even their names but hot damn, they're fine so I don't change the channel.

You can call it "Building Sexy Me Love You Long Time Construction with Rogue"

I still havent even gotten around to fixing the leak under the bathroom sink since I moved in a year ago.

The wiring/circuit breakers probably need to be tested, and probably replaced with some newer more

efficient shit since I have so much shit putting a load on them. I want to get a jacuzzi installed in the back

patio and I've had other ideas to spruce this place up..but time..money.  :|

As long as your breakers are not Cutler-Hammer, you should be okay :D

idk anyway all this shit is plugged in on the same wall, but I like the way it's set up.  The lights seem to just dim out

for no reason other times. Like the ac will make a noise like it just had a powersurge or some shit and all the lights

will dim.. There's definately some improvements to be made there anyway even if the the breakers are good. It was

brought up on the home inspection that the name on the breaker box was a company that has had a lot of issuues

with breakers tripping when they should /shouldn't etc... I believe the previous owner changed out the breakers

and just use the same box the old ones had for whatever reason anyway it's nuts.

idk man.. I got all this home improvement shit I need to do since I bought a house, but I have no experience with

any of it really.  :fap:

If you are talking about a window unit, they have a constant running fan but the compressor will kick on and off to maintain the selected temp, so that's probably what you're experiencing.

Probably because a brand bought out what brand the house had in it... i.e. if it was a Cutler-Hammer box, they probably just replaced the breakers in it with Eaton's newer, better retrofit version.
