It is weird because there are specific characters Kishimoto would show over and over like Gaara's fangirls and those 2 jounin guys, and think another 2 jounin guys, you keep seeing the same "extras" over and over so you think they might get featured and expounded on at some point but sometimes it never happens (or maybe it will for some eventually, I don't know.) At least one of those jounin duos got to fight those 2 Akatsuki guys. Which I guess is why their defeat at the hands of the Sound Four was off-screened. It preserved the mystery and surprise of everyone's abilities. If it was the same 2 guys lol. For this girl who knows if she would have ever gotten this featuring in the canon heh. It is a pet peeve of mine of when shows do this. I keep seeing the same characters over and over instead of ninja #6958 who is never seen again, it naturally makes me curious and want to know what their deal is. Especially if they look or seem interesting. So I hope for episodes like Io got here. But of course that doesn't always happen, which annoys me lol. I didn't even notice til I read about it after the fact, but the original Star Trek series would do this. There were minor officers that would appear again and again, and were intended to be the same character and not just reusing actors, going by scripts and/or their being addressed by Kirk or someone else in the show. Some of them would even get killed after a few appearances. So there were actually red shirts who would last more than one episode lmao. But Ensign Brown or whoever never got their featured episode hahaha.

There are plenty of straight guys who like wearing women's clothing. I remember they had those weirdos on Jerry Springer and the other day time talk shows all the time. I remember one guy said he liked the sensation of women's panties. Ugh. Now that I think about it those shows were probably pretty damaging to trans community, and probably gays too. They had a ton of episodes on where they bring a guy out, and the person they are dating reveals they are a man and they flip the fuck out. They were literal traps. If they were having sex I don't know how they wouldn't be able to tell they were with a guy. Even in a dark room, can they not tell they are fucking an asshole and not a pussy?! Did the "girl" always just coincidentally only want to do anal? Not to mention many of the cross-dressers were obviously guys going by their voice and appearance. How fucking dumb were the guys dating them? But I guess these would just be gay cross-dressers and not trans people? Either way I'm sure it played a big role into the whole "trying to trick straight guys into fucking guys" thing.

So is Naruto and other characters who are totally convincing as a young or teen boy, so what is your point?

Balls by Toonami to air this, but a bit late. Should have aired months ago. Also "People of Color" is a fucking idiotic term. People got so PC they looped back ground to being racist again. It's basically a modern version of saying "Colored People," which oof. And last I checked I never met any transparent people. But I like the spirit of the message and how they had the rebuttles ready for the usual BS from idiots who don't want politics or any kind of messages in their entertainment. I mean the eps are so old and widely available and seen they are basically reruns. But I sure as hell wouldn't have kept watching the series if it wasn't on Toonami lmao. The story went off a cliff once it was made apparent Sasuke wouldn't be brought back after that arc and would be one of the series "end goals" to "rescue Sasuke from himself." PFFFFFFT! As if I care if Naruto and Sasuke's poorly built up "best friendship" is restored, or that asshole Sasuke "saved." It was mentioned by folks on a podcast and they are right. Bleach's Komamura and Tosen's friendship being torn apart was done much better and quite well at that, and they are side characters!

I was looking up stuff about this and saw someone on Reddit or something make a "defense" for Tamaki's Lucky Lecher Lure. They said at least there are no perverted characters lusting after her. Which I didn't even notice, and also adding a character like that to the mix would he horrible! They mentioned how the characters who see or come into contact with Lucky Lecher Lure genuinely seem confused and/or concerned for her predicament. But it's still fucking stupid!
