    I didn't know this counted as a tournament arc since it was training matches and didn't use tournament structure. But usually tournament arcs will have some underlying more serious stakes and plotting going on, or things escalate past just the "friendly competition," but not in this case.

    Ok not showing the faces doesn't work when the characters talk and we hear their voices. Something like this might have worked in the manga. This is why Rukia had to be revealed immediately as the mystery Soul Reaper in the anime of the Fullbring Arc.

    I couldn't tell if I was seeing an ad for a game or a show or movie. I thought it could be for a Yakuza game at first. Anyway, this Blade Runner show looks awesome!

    Of course it was going to get picked up regardless (assuming they could work out a deal.) You can clearly tell from watching the show that Towa is the protagonist, though. We even had her narrating like Kagome. The theory I heard for this was that since Sesshomaru was supposedly the most popular character from the original series, the creators of this series made the show to focus on Sesshomaru's daughters. If that is true, it's yet another example of why you don't "make things for the fans." I do like Towa and Setsuna, but Moroha is definitely best girl!

    So it was mentioned and there was a brief flashback to it? We didn't see the full-on actual training? I think that was multiple scenes actually. I thought we kept going back to it as we jumped around between the different internships. Huh. Ok. I don't remember Uraraka ever exclaiming "Gunhead Martial Arts!" before though.
