  1. The Five Leaf Grimoire was created when Licht got turned into a demon or whatever, right? Or was that a different Five Leaf? I remember the elves saying Asta was using weapons and a grimoire that rightfully belonged to Licht. I'd have to go back and re-watch some stuff. But, I'm not sure how Asta's mom came across it. Liebe did say he gained the ability of anti-magic while he was waiting around sealed up in the book. So I hope there is more explanation for that at some point.
  2. Eh, they showed the trailer just now of all times?! Shouldn't it have been played earlier? 2:42 AM Central time right when the Super rerun went to commercial. I'm lucky I still had the TV on! So we are only able to see the trailer for free and not the whole panel? It looks like we won't have the cheesy voice acting after all. But yeah hopefully the anime can finish the story. Since Sheamue III took forever to come out and was a bust. It ignored the progress of Yakuza and the videogame industry overall, and STILL didn't finish the story!
  3. Haters gonna hate, baiters gonna bait, 'baters gonna 'bate. It's too bad you guys will never give Black Clover the credit it deserves! But all this really means is Toonami is being cheap and/lazy again.
  4. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2020-11-03/viz-announces-inuyasha-spinoff-anime-yashahime-new-returning-dub-cast/.165935 This was announced and posted all over the internet a year ago when the series was cast. So we all knew Richard Ian Cox was returning as Inuyasha. The only one who changed mid-way through the series was Miroku, due to Kirby Morrow passing away. We already heard him as Inuyasha in the first episode. I thought he sounded pretty much the same in this episode as he did in the first Yashahime episode, and Final Act, and the original series. In fact, Richard Cox was the one who sounded the most like he did back in the day, out of everyone else. Others' voices have noticeably changed with age, as is to be expected, but Richard Cox sounded pretty much exactly the same.
  5. I will say, as far as myself, and the series overall. I was listening to what everyone else was saying about how this show was one of the worst animes ever. And I was ready to sit there and make fun of it with everyone else, if that turned out to be true. But, when it premiered, it was not that bad. Sure, it was corny and cheesy at times (especially the "MY MAGIC IS NEVER GIVING UP!" line, which thankfully didn't become a catchphrase,) but this show has a lot of charm to it, doesn't take itself too seriously, even making fun of itself at times (especially Yami who practically breaks the Fourth Wall at times,) and has just been downright enjoyable. Black Clover has improved on a lot of its predecessors. I buy Asta and Yuno as best friends, bothers, and rivals, and care about that a lot more than I did Naruto and Sasuke. Naruto and Sakura look like crazy people when they talk about "saving Sasuke" when he was always a jerk even before he went rogue. Their past together did not warrant that kind of feeling from them about Sasuke. It was poorly built up and forced. Noelle has had great growth and development over the course of the series. And yeah, characters don't get left on the sidelines as so often happens in other series. Great world building and diversity of cultures in the show as well. I did enjoy the show pretty much from the beginning, but it has really gotten better and grown its world well over time. I can't wait til more Black Clover animation inevitably returns!
  6. So I found this. The trailer shows some behind the scenes stuff on the manga and anime. But it seems to be hyping Black Clover in general and doesn't really tell us anything about the movie. From what I could tell, all the footage was that was shown being worked on is stuff we already saw? I don't think there's any info about what the movie will be about yet. It might show more of the arc, or could be random side story. Who knows. But maybe this is being done to tide over fans until the manga gets further ahead and the anime can return? And maybe there are some epic events coming up that warrant being put into a movie? Not sure. https://www.funimation.com/blog/2021/03/29/black-clover-anime-movie-announced-visual-revealed/ Found a Funimation article. I keep seeing this HITC website come up lately, though I have never heard of it. They think it will come out in 9-12 months (from April 6th when this was announced) and adapt the rest of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, which sounds like pure speculation to me. I can't check without running into spoilers of course, but I wouldn't be surprised if this arc has gone way longer than a movie can cover. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2021/04/06/black-clover-movie-release-date-plot-and-cast-rumours-explained/?amp
  7. I hope Mars and the human Fana are okay. They were good characters. I'm concerned since Spade apparently took over Diamond easily. And I guess the previous plans Tabata had for a new guard taking over the Diamond Kingdom, and their mysterious leader, got abandoned, in favor of making Spade the big threat. I do hope that gets addressed at least.
  8. Ok, checking the credits, so that was Felicia Angelle as Asta's mother. And the Devil's name is spelled Liebe. And it's actually Nacht, not Nocht, it turns out.
  9. Asta going against the usual contract. He can't kill anyone by choice or two weak to?
  10. So how is Asta getting any power from this Devil if he had no magic? Oh so he gained the anti-magic at some point during the seal. Late bloomer?
  11. Definitely sounds familiar from somewhere. Maybe from Dr. Stone, since voice actors don't get recycled within the same shows as much like in the old days, and I especially don't think it would be done with this role.
  12. So when the heck did she give birth to Asta then?! And with who, if she can't go near anyone.
  13. Her power is kind of like Henry's. She can't go around other people. She adopted him lmao. Ah hell Lucifero is here. Damn the bastard killed her.
  14. Has Bryce been playing the Devil the whole time? He didn't sound like this before when he was black energy silhouette. Then again a voice distortion effect may have been used.
  15. It's all making sense! That's how Kirito got so strong and landed all those waifus!
